THE MJ PROJECT is a donor funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and relies entirely on your support.
All funds donated to THE MJ PROJECT are tax-deductible.
Here are some examples of how we can use your donations:
- $1000 provides digital media students with a Student Filmmaker Kit, including DSLR camera, microphone, tripod and SD card
- $500 funds a high school graduation MJ “Lots to Give” Scholarship
- $250 allows an average-size classroom to participate in our popular EVERY KID A BOOK program
- $200 funds our EVERY PLAYER A BOOK program for a high school or middle school sports team
- $150 gives teachers a class set of high-interest books otherwise not available to them through traditional school curriculum
- $100 provides The Book Dragons Book Club in Clovis with individual copies of their monthly selection
- $45 provides one student with three summer reading books through our "3 For Free" program
- $15 puts a book in a teenager’s hand
